How it works

A calmer path to your circle

Narumelo is built around small, slow, interest-based groups. Here's exactly how you go from signing up to having people to talk to.

Step 1

Tell us your vibe

In a 4-step onboarding, share your energy type (deeply introverted, comfortably introverted, or ambivert), pick at least three interests, and choose how you like to reply. We never ask for your exact address.

Step 2

Join a small circle

We recommend circles of up to 8 people who share your interests. Request to join one (or a few), and the owner welcomes you in. Open circles let you join instantly.

Step 3

Connect gently

Answer one Daily Prompt privately, or choose to share it with the Narumelo community. Read a few community thoughts, leave a gentle reaction, and chat when you're ready. Direct messages only open when both people agree.

How a featured thought is chosen

Community thoughts otherwise stay newest-first. A thought becomes eligible for the featured position only after at least three different members engage with it. A gentle reaction adds one point and a completed share adds two; the author’s own activity does not count. Ties favour broader engagement and then the newer thought. A reported thought is not featured, and a selected reflection stays featured for up to 24 hours while it remains eligible.

Your social battery, visible

Set it daily so your circle knows whether to expect a quick reply or a quiet day.

Safe by default

Mutual DMs, blocking, reporting, and human moderation keep the calm.
